What an off-grid container home includes
Please note: the container home is supplied as a finished unit. Solar panels, inverters, batteries and all off-grid power equipment are not included and are not supplied or installed by us — they must be sourced separately from a third-party supplier. The same applies to water storage, pumps and waste systems — those are yours to arrange.
Planning an off-grid setup in New Zealand
Off-grid living needs power, water and waste planned together. A third-party specialist will design those systems for your site and your usage.
What you arrange
You provide the land, a level base or piles, and the off-grid power, water and waste systems. Planning these while the home is in transit keeps the timeline short.
Suitability
Remote sites vary in access and rules. Check what your area allows before ordering.
Payment and terms
Payment is by bank transfer in full. There is no financing. All off-grid systems, tariffs, duties and local delivery are extra.
How to order
Send the size and layout you need, plus your nearest port, for an exact quote for the home.
