Container homes are finding a real market in Norway, and the direct-from-factory route is worth understanding. Units are factory-built, ship from China folded or finished, and arrive at Oslo. This covers why they suit Norway, the sizes, shipping, and what you handle on your end.
The case for container homes in Norway
Norway’s remote land and cold climate suit well-insulated container cabins. It has a very cold winters climate, and a properly insulated unit handles it fine – hot or cold. Typical uses in Norway are off-grid cabins, rural homes, site accommodation.
Sizes you can order for Norway
- 10FT Expandable – compact studio, office, or annexe.
- 20FT Expandable & Premium – the most popular pick for a one- or two-bedroom home.
- 40FT Premium & Deluxe – full family homes.
- Double-Story Villa – for when land is tight.
Shipping, explained
We ship FOB from China to Oslo. Your price includes the unit and freight to port; onward transport is on your side. Units ship folded where they can, so freight stays efficient – and a multi-unit order can go in one shipment.
Price, and how you pay
Pricing is quoted per order – it depends on size, quantity, and spec. Payment is by bank transfer in full; we do not offer financing.
