Quick answer
An expandable container home arrives folded and is placed by crane or lifting equipment, then expanded and secured. There is no on-site construction of the shell: the unit is already finished inside. Assembly is a matter of placing, expanding, locking, and connecting services.

What “assembly” actually means
With an expandable unit, there is no building on site. The unit arrives essentially finished and folded. Assembly means placing it, expanding it to full size, locking the sections, and connecting the services. That is why a container home goes from delivery to use so quickly.
Placement
A crane or lifting equipment sets the unit on the prepared pad or foundation. This is why the base and the access route are planned ahead. Placement is a short, single operation.
Expansion and securing
The folded sections slide or hinge out to full size, then are locked and sealed. The frame provides the structure, so there is no separate build step.
Services
After placement, you connect power, water and waste at the prepared points. Doing the site services to a single point first makes this quick.
Who does the work
Placement needs a crane operator and a rigging crew. If you have arranged the site work and services in advance, the whole process is measured in hours or days, not weeks.
Payment and ordering
Units are quoted per order and paid by bank transfer in full, delivered port-to-port (FOB). Send your size and nearest port for a quote.
