Wiring a container is different from a wood house. You run conduit alongside steel instead of inside wood studs. The biggest issue: steel conducts electricity. If a hot wire nicks against the frame the frame becomes live. You need GFCI breakers on every circuit. All wiring in conduit or wire loom. No exposed romex inside walls. Panel sizing: 20FT needs 60-100 amp panel. 40FT needs 100-200 amp. Villa needs 200 amp if running electric heat and AC. Tankless water heaters need their own 50-60 amp breaker. Off grid works well because the space is small. A 2,000 watt solar setup with 5kWh battery runs a 20FT comfortably. Lights, fridge, laptop, LED TV. Add a 3,000 watt inverter for the mini split AC. Our insulated models come pre-wired with conduits behind interior walls. Just need an electrician to connect the panel. Email info@atvworldwide.com for electrical specs.
