Quick answer
On-site assembly of a container home runs in stages: ground preparation and foundation, placement of the unit, expansion, service connections, and finishing touches. Because the unit arrives internally finished, the on-site work is mainly foundations and connections. Delivery is port-to-port (FOB); payment is by bank transfer in full.
- Foundation and ground prep come first
- The unit is placed, then expanded if applicable
- Services and finishing complete the build

Stage 1: ground and foundation
The site is levelled and drained, then a foundation or pads are set to suit the unit and the ground conditions. Getting this right is what keeps the unit level and true.
Stage 2: placement
The unit arrives folded and is lifted onto the prepared foundation. Check site access for the delivery vehicle and lifting equipment before the day.
Stage 3: expansion
If the unit is an expandable model, the sections are opened and locked into their final position. The structure becomes rigid once deployed.
Stage 4: services
Water, power and drainage are connected. Running these after the unit lands means it sits idle, so prepare them while it is in transit.
Stage 5: finishing
Final internal and external touches, such as external landscaping or steps, complete the project. Because the unit is internally finished, this stage is short.
