Quick answer
An off-grid container home can run on solar with battery storage sized to your loads, plus a backup generator for long cloudy spells. The unit arrives wired for connection; you size and install the solar, battery and inverter locally. We supply the unit; you handle the energy system on site.
- Size the system to real loads, not a label
- Battery storage carries you through the night
- Keep a backup for long cloudy periods

What an off-grid setup needs
Off-grid power is a system of four parts: panels, a battery bank, an inverter, and a charge controller, plus a backup source. The unit arrives wired to receive power; the generation and storage are sized and installed on your side, to suit your climate and loads.
Size to real loads
Work out what you actually run, and for how long. Lighting and electronics are small; heating, cooling, cooking and water heating are large. The single biggest decision in an off-grid build is how you heat and cook, because those loads dwarf everything else.
Battery storage for the night
Solar makes power when the sun is up; you use power in the evening. The battery carries you through the dark and through cloudy days. Size it for the worst stretch of weather you expect, not the average day.
A backup for long spells
In most climates a generator or a grid connection as backup is sensible, because no battery bank is infinite and long overcast periods happen. Keeping the backup small, because it is only for the bad weeks, keeps the cost down.
Designing for efficiency first
Before sizing panels, cut the load. LED lighting, efficient appliances, good insulation and a sensible approach to heating and cooling do more for an off-grid budget than adding panels. The cheapest kilowatt is the one you do not use.
What you handle
The unit arrives wired for a mains supply. Solar, battery, inverter and any generator are local work, using local suppliers and rules, and are best planned with an installer who knows your area and climate.
Frequently asked questions
Do you offer financing?
No. Payment is by bank transfer in full before production.
How are units delivered?
Units ship folded and are delivered port-to-port (FOB). You arrange local transport from the port to your site.
Can I order more than one unit?
Yes. Multi-unit orders ship together, which lowers the freight cost per unit.
